1910 Imperial Russian badge for people, working at the children's shelters of the department of the establishments of Empress Maria. Gold gilded silver. Named and hallmarked.
Figured crowned ribbon covered with turquoise enamel and inscribed: «И вы живи будете» (You will live too). Flying small ribbons appear from under the crown. Inside the ribbon is placed the letter M — the monogram of Empress Maria. Owner’s name on reverse: “И. М. Макаров”.
“Gann” workshop, St. Petersburg. Silver, gilding, enamel. The size is 35x24 mm. Approved August 14, 1894.The badge was of two types: gold — for guardians, their helpers, directors & silver — for honorary heads of the shelters.

Клейма на оборотной стороне знака. Серебро, позолота, эмаль. Сохранность отличная. Крепление — вертикальная булавка с застежкой. Патрикеев, Бойнович.1# 2.74.а. Утвержден 14 августа 1894 г.
Знак 1-й степени (из позолоченного серебра) предназначался для попечителей и попечительниц приютов, их помощников и помощниц, директоров детских приютов, почетных членов советов и попечительств. Надпись на знаке: «И ВЫ ЖИВИ БУДЕТЕ» – выполненная русскими буквами цитата из славянской Библии (Евангелие от Иоанна). В синодальном переводе на русский язык: «Не оставлю вас сиротами; приду к вам; еще немного, и мир уже не увидит Меня; а вы увидите Меня, ибо Я живу, и вы будете жить; в тот день узнаете вы, что Я в Отце Моем, и вы во Мне, и Я в вас» (Ин 14, 18–20).
