for NBC/CBRN/Riot protection, the Avon GPCF50 Conformal filter (Avon p/n 72009/1) is designed to tightly 'hug' the contours/curves of the gas mask minimizing the gap between the filter & the facepiece.  Ideal for close quarters operations/combat & other tactical applications like riot control where users want to fit the filter underneath riot helmets or other gear & eliminate any protrusions that would allow an assailant to get hold of the gasmask.
BRAND NEW / Vacuum Sealed in Heavy Mil-Spec Foil (when kept sealed will keep filter fresh for a minimum of 5 years, however industry experts agree that while protected from moisture/air, these NBC filters should remain effective for 10-15 years or more.  For that reason, rather than marking the GPCF50 filter with an expiration date, Avon Protection in cooperation with the US Military (shelf-life extension program) list a test/inspect date instead of an expiration date.  At that point, the filter can be inspected to confirm integrity of the packaging and/or conduct testing, etc. & then extend the shelf life for an additional 5 or 10 years.
Made in 3/2017, these filters are printed with a test/insp date of 3/2022 & typically have the shelf life extended to 2032 or longer if the testing/inspection determines that the vacuum seal remains perfect/intact, etc.
This item is considered 'significant military technology' & therefore is subject to ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) & may not be shipped outside the United States without prior approval being obtained from the US State Department (Office of Defense Trade Controls). For wholesale/bulk purchases AGM / Approved Gas Masks can submit for an export permit on the end-users behalf, however approval is at sole discretion of US State Dept Defense Trade Controls Office
