: Cambridge Glass Gold Encrusted Wildflower Etch,
on Pink Glass
, No.14 “Shallow Cupped Bowl”. According to a feature on the Wildflower etched pattern in the Crystal Ball, Issue No. 168 - April 1987 (National Cambridge Collectors Inc.), the pattern is found primarily on clear colorless crystal, and to a
very limited extent
on Ebony, Amber, and Gold Krystol colored glass.
To find the Wildflower pattern on pink colored glass is uncommon/ rare.
Not sure if the color is LaRosa pink (produced 1938-43 only) or Peach-Blo (introduced 1920s). We suspect the color is La Rosa because of the introduction dates of the Wildflower etch and LaRosa color are contemporary (1 year apart). We photographed the bowl indoors and outdoors in-order to best capture the pink color of the glass.

Condition Report
: Used. Good condition without chips, cracks, or repairs. The gold gilt highlights have rubbing loss throughout (all 5 Wildflower panels photographed). The gold gilt band on the rim is almost entirely rubbed off. The glass body itself shows very little signs of use-wear. The foot bottom shows normal / light age appropriate scuffs from shelf wear.
