DUNHILL 1998 UNSMOKED SHELL BRIAR CANADIAN SHAPE 5109 ESTATE PIPE COMPLETE

Dunhill's Canadian shape "09" I believe has it roots in the old "EC" and while a classic English shape, for whatever reason Dunhill certainly did not make a ton of them. What's even harder to find is older unsmoked ones yet to you Canadian enthusiast's delight, this week I have two! This beautiful Shell was made in 1998 and shows one of the finest blasts I have seen from this era, reminiscent of a Patent! Coming in a Group 5, it's really a perfect size and feels excellent in hand with a muscular Billiard shaped bowl that is perfectly formed carrying ultra thick walls with a generous chamber. The shank is long, sturdy and oval meeting the original vulcanite stem with tapered bit and crisp white spot. The Shell finish is as good as it gets, super dark burgundy with just a touch of red to the relief on the remarkable deep craggy but uniform ring grain with deep birdseye as well, wow! This may well be the the absolute best blast I have seen on a Dunhill from the 90's! Comes complete with original box, leather sock, and catalog this Dunhill awaits it's first smoke and simply will not disappoint.
