    Description

    One Pound of Mosaic Tile
    Broken China
    each pound contains a little over 100 pieces and covers about 80 square inches
    Save cost when you buy in bulk.
    we cut pieces to be 1" or so in size
    some pieces are slightly larger or slightly smaller
    if the piece has white on it, we try to keep it to a minimum..  (see our other listing for all white mosaic pieces)
    the pieces vary in thickness from 1/8" to 1/4"
    they are mostly flat or slightly curved
    no pedestal or other thick parts are used
    we try to cut the pieces so that interesting features are retained.
    Please be careful the edges can be sharp.
    Many of the mosaic pieces are from antique or collector plates and will not withstand being ran through a tumbler.  A customer ran her order through a rock tumbler to smooth the edges and lost the color on the majority of the pieces.  Only the glazed tiles that were ran through a kiln will withstand such treatment.
    The mix is constantly changing as new pieces are added.  We constantly look for interesting patterns and colors.
