These SD cards are genuine Sandisk and have the "Sandisk" logo actually molded into the back of the card as shown in the photos. They are surplus Nextar USA and Canada maps 2GB SD cards initially intended for use in Nextar GPS units. I assume that Nextar bought these cards new from Sandisk and then wrote the map files onto them.  As such, these cards probably have only one write cycle on them and should be good for many more read-write cycles.   The card capacity is unmarked but they show as 2GB on my computer. The cards are recognized on my MacBook Pro as external storage formatted as MS-DOS(FAT16). The map files have a date of 1979 so these are old surplus but these cards are in mint, new condition with shiny contacts that show minimal use. I tried several of these cards in Canon, Nikon and Panasonic digital cameras and the cards formatted fine and recorded pictures normally in all of the cameras. I make no guarantees that the files on the cards will work with anything.  I am selling these as used SD cards intended to be reformatted and used as normal SD cards in cameras, recording devices, etc., and therefore they are sold AS-IS.
I insert each and every card into my computer to make sure the card itself is recognized before I mail it. The cards in the pictures are not necessarily the cards you will receive but all the SD cards are identical to the cards in the pictures, I just photographed randomly selected cards and then put them back with all the others.
PROCEDURE TO ERASE THESE CARDS:
There have been incidents where buyers have told me that the card or cards will only hold a few pictures.  After I respond with this procedure, the cards all worked normally.
1.  The card must first be erased in a computer.  Nextar uses a proprietary file format that many cameras do not recognize and therefore the camera will not delete these files when reformatted in the camera.  Open the card on your computer, select ALL, then move to trash.  This will also remove hidden files.
2.
BEFORE you eject the card, DELETE
or empty the trash or hidden files may remain on the card.
3.  Then format the card in your camera or device.  Now the full capacity of the card will be accessible.
TERMS:
U.S. sales only, no international shipping. No APO/FPO or US possessions. PAYPAL only. Cash only for local pickup. Payment must be received within 4 days of the end of the auction. Most buy-it-now auctions require immediate payment. Paypal payments must be from a U.S. VERIFIED account and I will only ship to a CONFIRMED address. Any payments from a non-U.S. Paypal account or with an unconfirmed shipping address will be refunded immediately. You will then have 3 days to get a "confirmed" address. After that, the sale will be cancelled. I have accurately tried to describe this item so there are no returns. Bidders with less than 10 positive feedbacks must contact me BEFORE a bid is placed or I will cancel the bid. (Too many recent non-paying bidders with low feedback scores). Local pickup is offered but payment must be cash.
SHIPPING: Two options:
1. FREE. The SD cards will be mailed in a regular USPS First Class letter which does not have tracking so please be sure your paypal address is correct.
The last photo shows what the envelope looks like so you will not think it is junk mail when you receive it.
I have a supply of 1984 Olympics LAOOC envelopes.  The envelope sent to you will have my printed return address and your address will be hand-lettered.
