AS IS!!! PLEASE READ!!!
She is not a toy! The pastels I used along with a sealant will wash off, scratch or rub off if the doll is not handled carefully. Her hair is roving wool and is glued on with Aileen's Tacky Glue and will shed. Her lashes are also glued on with Tacky glue.
I cannot guarantee the longevity of these materials.
She is wearing two vintage baby gowns (one I have used for the a slip) and her sweater set with matching booties is extremely old, has holes and tears, and is very fragile.
BUT...She is a my little work of art and her Christening gown is so precious. I want her to go to someone who will take care of her because I can't keep all my babies!
She is to be considered an assemblage piece of art and removing her clothing may cause damage to the doll and/or her vintage clothing.
THIS DOLL WAS PURCHASED NEW TO USE AS A PROP IN A FILM and some pastels applied to give her a more realistic look. I've had her for about year and recently decided to make her into one of my Zombie Babies!
I will be including her original clothes, blanket & box. I took photos of her before I put her outfit together but I would not attempt to change her clothing again.
If you are a collector of my dolls, then you know the time and effort I put into them.
Or you can check out many of my dolls online if you search for Geri G. Taylor (or g2taylor) OOAK CrEePy Clowns or Gothic Girl Porcelain Dolls.
FOR DECORATIVE PURPOSES ONLY! NOT TO BE USED AS A TOY!
Each doll is a repurposed mass-produced doll, or collectible that has been painted with acrylic paint and their features embellished with charcoal.
Many of the dolls were redressed in clothing that was not original to them.
Remnants of Tibetan Mongolian Lamb Wool / Hair Pelts were used for many of the dolls hair and some seams may be visible.
I have used synthetic wigs on some of the dolls.
If you're more interested in my process, visit my blog at Creative Daze with Geri.
I am a multimedia artist who usually crafts Santas but I fell in love with so many of the other artist's versions of Gothic/Zombie Dolls that I had to create some of my own.
My technique is very loose handed; so don't expect precision! My intension was to use irregular, sketchy lines and thick coats of paint to resemble lifeless skin sloughing off and dark, vacant eyes.
Because I did not wash the clothes after dying them, some dye residue may come off on your fingers when you handle them.
The dolls may have been mass-produced BUT I strive to make each one unique! All of the dolls are signed Geri G. Taylor.
Please keep in mind that some of the dolls were damaged or dirty when I purchased them and I have put more effort in what is visible. In most cases, the clothes are stitched on.
WARNING: Spray sealer/varnish was used as well as some glues considered "toxic" in their liquid form.
USED:
Expect some signs of wear, dust/dirt in crevices, minor scratches, scuffs, scrapes, paint rubs, etc.
Please look at my photos as they are part of the description and the camera can detect things I might have missed.
Please check out my other listings. I have other dolls listed!
I do combine shipping when possible.
Feel free to contact me with any questions.
My home is nonsmoking but these dolls
were purchased secondhand and
might have come from a smoking home or may smell of dye, sealer, glue, paint, etc.
My shipping materials are stored in wooden storage building and may have a musty/woody smell.
I also create CrEePy Clowns (self explanatory), Gothic Girls & Guys, and sometimes (but rarely) my Hauntingly Beautiful Enchanted Dolls.
So follow me and check out my other dolls when I post them!
