S.BANG STANWELL DESIGNER LINE UNSMOKED BENT APPLE SHAPE 165 ESTATE PIPE COMPLETE

Description

Stanwell has released some incredible limited edition pipes throughout the years, most notably their collaborations with the greatest Danish pipe carvers of all time dating back to the 1950's when they commissioned Sixten Ivarsson to design some phenomenal shapes. Fast forward almost 50 years and they teamed up with Per Hansen and Ulf Noltensmeier not long before they retired to make this incredible shape 165 which is a "signature" shape of S.Bang. A large Apple, it shows a touch of Brandy to it and fits like a glove in hand. It carries thick walls surrounding the generous chamber and the engineering is spot on. The transition is muscular yet graceful to a lovely swan neck bent shank that is adorned with a silver plaque stamped "S.Bang" and meets the 9mm capable lucite saddle stem with silver crowned "S" and comes with adapter for standard bore. The finish is a stunning Bruyere while the grain displays spectacular straight, flame and birdseye grain all in incredible depth/layers! Comes with original box and pamphlet, this Stanwell is not to be missed.
