The Next Generation SGE150 Gas Mask / Full facepiece mask, incorporates significant innovations: the use of a transparent polycarbonate visor, that is also a support structure for all the other components and an extremely ergonomic facial gasket for optimal wearer comfort. Perfect visibility thanks to its integral polycarbonate visor and incomparable comfort thanks to its bellow shape face seal.

The Mestel filter protects against chemical and biological warfare agents like sarin and other nerve gases; mustard gas, cyanogen, arsine and phosgene; radioactive and highly toxic particles; aerosols and micro-organisms; bacteria and viruses. Many industrial gases (type A2B2E2K2P3) according to EN 141, i.e. organic gases and vapours, inorganic gases and vapours, e.g. chlorine, hydrogen cyanide, hydrogen sulphide, organic and inorganic acids, such as formic acid, sulphur dioxide, hydrogen fluoride and hydrogen chloride. Warfare and terrorism agents such as anthrax, sarin, smallpox, mustard gas as well as riot control agents like CN and CS tear gases.

Can the SGE150 be connected with a Camelbak hydration system to allow drinking while using the mask?
A:
Hi there, the 150 is designed to be a good but inexpensive model of SGE mask.  For that reason, it is the only model that does not have the option to have it made with a drinking capability.  The 400 is the next one up & it can be gotten with drinking system;  You can take the screw cap that connects to the top of the canteen cap and add it to the Camelbak to make a working system;  You do need to get the 400 with drinking system though (or 400/3 or other model WITH the drinking feature installed) to do that...  Overall all models utilize the same design & clear polycarbonate face shield, so all are very good but the 150 cant be produced with the drinking system installed.  The other differences on the 400, 400/3, etc. are a more chem & scratch resistant coating on the lens thats not done on the 150's & the facial seal on the higher models is made from a more comfortable (but still chem resistant) medical grade silicone rubber blend vs the 150 has a butyl rubber facial seal (still good, & highly chemical resistant), but not as comfy.  Thanks for you interest, hope this helped you figure out what will work best for you.  Happy Holidays!!
