SOREN REFBJERG UNSMOKED "PROFILE" STRAIGHT GRAIN DANISH DUBLIN ESTATE PIPE

Description

I can't say enough good things about Soren Refbjerg, and in my opinion he is one of the most underrated carvers in Denmark, possibly in the world! This pipe shows why, in all facets, a truly exceptional piece and remains unsmoked! A quintessentially Danish Dublin design it sports a wide convex round rim with extremely thick walls surrounding a modest chamber. As the bowl tapers we find a lovely hand-rusticated patch on the heel before transitioning to a sturdy quarter bent oval shank that is extended by a real piece of beautiful horn with ivorite ring at the face. Stem is original saddle vulcanite with a nice bend for comfort, straight bit, and cursive "R" logo. The finish is classic Danish orange contrast which perfectly highlights the ultra fine 360 degree straight grain with a touch of flame while the entire rim is covered in tight tiny birdseye, wow!!!! Awaiting its first smoke, this is hands-down one of the finest pipes I have ever offered from Refbjerg!
