Custom 11 Piece Spoked Precision Spinning Top (HighValleyTops)

This top has a bronze outer ring , a stainless inner ring , eight manganese bronze spokes and an aluminum stem. The contact point is a 3/16" Si3N4 ceramic ball. My best spin time is 11.05 . The diameter is 1 3/8" (35mm) , it is 1 7/8" (48mm) tall and it weighs 50 grams.
1961 Great Britain Half Crown Coin Ring Precision Spinning Top (HighValleyTops)

I made a ring from a 1961 Great Britain half crown coin and pressed it onto a top that I made from bronze over an aluminum stem. The stem has a lab created ruby gemstone set in the top end and a 3/16" Si3N4 ceramic ball contact point pressed into the other end. This top is well balanced and spins smoothly. Spin times of 8 to 10 minutes. The diameter is 1 1/32", it is about 2 " tall and it weighs 50 grams.
The Tiny Tungsten Precision Spinning Top (HighValleyTops)

I made these little tops out of tungsten carbide and 7075 aluminum, with a 1 /16" tungsten carbide ball contact point. They only weigh 2.9 grams. Spin times have been from 5.05 to 6.55 . The diameter is 3/8" and they are about 11 /16" tall.
US Quarter Dollar Coin Ring Precision Metal Spinning Top (HighValleyTops)

US quarter coin ring precision spin top . I made the body of the top from blued steel , with a Si3N4 ceramic ball contact point pressed into it. A ring made from a pre 1999 quarter coin with the tails side out, was then pressed onto the outside of the top. These tops measure 13/16" in diameter, are about 1 1/16" tall, and weigh about 28 grams. These tops are all handcrafted. Spin times up to 8 minutes. Made in the USA.

A ring made from a pre 1999 quarter with the tails side out, is pressed onto the outside of the top. These tops measure 13 / 16" in diameter, they are about 1 " tall and they weigh 30 grams. These tops are all handcrafted. Spin times up to 8 minutes.
