Vintage10K Yellow Gold Single Diamond Gearhart-Owen Oil Field 5 Year Service Pin

Description

This is a 5 year service pin given by Gearhart-Owen (later Gearhart Industries), a Texas based oilfield service company.  It dates from 1984.  Made with 10k (as stamped) yellow gold, it has a single diamond stone, and a total weight of around 2.2 gm.  It has a pin but does not have the butterfly clasp.
On the backside is stamped  “H 10k”. The “H” is the trademark for the company that manufactured the charms: Halrom’s Fine Jewelry of Fort Worth, TX, (now in Grapevine, TX), and the 10k refers to the gold purity.
The pin measure 1/2” long x 3/8” high.
