EGA( Eagle, Globe and Anchor)  This is an excellent

of a classic Marine Corps insignia. This is the insignia the Marines would have been issued for the campaign hats as well as the overseas hat, later it was also affixed to helmets.
Sometimes they were afixed to helmets. Overseas this was the only hat insignia that made them stand out from the Army. This EGA is a perfect
replica
down to the brass screw back. I have sold many of these at military shows, reenacting events as well as to Marine Corps Veterans and their families. This is the model 1916 EGA. This EGA was still being used a lot while overseas.
These
repro
badges have been used by Marine Corps Historians as well as being on display in museums and can be seen in the Marine Corps Quantico museum, with no complaints, just excitement . This EGA will fit on a helmet if needed. The Last picture shows it affixed to a helmet.(Helmet not included)
